It can be used when applying for a loan, buying a car, leasing an apartment, or similar instances where proof of employment is needed. The Work Number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Work Number streamlines the employment verification process for both you and your potential creditors and other verifiers of employment information. 

If your creditor requires proof of employment or income, provide them with:

1. CRC's employer code: 17582,
2. Your Social Security Number, and
3. Direct them to www.the​​worknumber.com or (800) 367-5690.
